Architectural Style is a public entity which seeks to impart and impress by its Design and method of construction. 

We would like to share known Architectural styles which helped in developing the architecture style in which we are living today.

11. Norman Architectural style - 1075 to 1250

This style of Architecture was developed by Normans - a categorized style of Romanesque architecture. Monasteries, abbeys, churches and cathedrals were key building along with Castle and fortifications.


12. Mudejar Architectural style - 1125 to 1600

Mudejar Architecture is characterized by the use of brick as main material. It did not involve the creation of new shapes or structure but has a symbiosis of techniques of building and decoration where Moorish and European cultures met.


13. Gothic Architectural style - 1180 to 1540

Gothic Architecture style laid emphasis on tall buildings featuring thin stone structure with pointed arches and ribbed stone vaults supported by glass and buttresses.


14. Sondergotik Architectural style - 1350 to 1550

As name by itself special Gothic - it is late Gothic architecture prevalent in Austria, Bavaria, Saxony and Bohemia. It laid stress on carving and decoration and building tended towards mass buttressing.


15. Renaissance Architectural style - 1400 to 1600

Renaissance architecture was noted for clean lines, symmetry and proportion which was visible in ancient Roman architecture style. It emerged in Europe.


16. Tudor Architectural style - 1485 to 1603

Tudor Architectural style was developed in England and was tentative introduction of Renaissance architecture.


17. High Renaissance Architectural style - 1500 to 1520
The Templetto, Rome, Itlay  Source: Google
This concept derived from classical antiquity, expanding the applicability of classical architecture to contemporary buildings.


18. Mannerism Architectural style - 1530 to 1600
The Vleeshal in Haarlem Source: Google
Mannerism is also known as late Renaissance. This style is notable for its artificial qualities and intellectual sophistication. 


19. Baroque Architectural style - 1600 to 1755

This Architectural style was more based on illusory effect that is lights and colour. Domes, portico, central towers and other central projections where typically included in these buildings.

20. Palladianism Architectural style - 1615 to 1690

Palladianism style was inspired by design of Venetian architect Andrea Palladio. Palladian architecture is known for its classical facade and was based on Greek and Roman architectural styles.
